Conwy Castle is probably the most impressive of all the Welsh Castles and, with its eight large towers and well-preserved wall around the town, shows the sense of strength at this site. The town of Conwy is surrounded by a classic wall, over ¾ mile long and is guarded by no less than 22 towers.
The castle itself is a World Heritage Site.
